Remote control bomb exploded in a canal


MULTAN,Feb 14th:A remote-controlled bomb exploded at the Khichi Canal, a development site at Arabi Tela, 20 kilometres from Rojhan city, on Sunday.
An international construction company was carrying out work at the canal when a low-intensity remote-controlled bomb exploded there. No loss of life was reported until the filing of this report, however, the machinery at the site was damaged. According to Rajanpur DCO Aamir Raza and Political Assistant and Commandant BMP, Capt (retd) Altaf Hussain, it was a remote-controlled bomb explosion. The law enforcement agencies, bomb disposal squad and fire brigade reached the site of the explosion. Police have registered a case and started investigation into the incident.
