AIRLEAGUE WORKERS

MULTAN, Feb 11th: Baton wielded activists of airleague of PIA took out a rally from Multan press club along with workers of electronic media to protest against the high handedness and baton-charge of Airport Security Force (AFF) on the journalists and PIA employees in Karachi. The rally was led by Senior Vice President of Air league Faheem Khan Babur,Mehr Qadar Bakhsh and Bilal Lashari.They were shouting slogans accountability of corrupt management of PIA which sold out the international routes against $70 million dollars, removal of PIA’s managing director Ijaz Haroon, avoiding the privatization of PIA. Participants of the rally entered the city terminal where they forcibly checked the workers from doing work and forced them to join the protest rally. A leader of Air league exchanged hot word with Ibrahim Khosa of People’s Unity of PIA who was supporting the managing director. Faheem Khan Babur said that Government was employing the delaying tactics and it had deferred the negotiations till Monday while hundreds of passengers were stranded in Saudia Rabia, UAE, and other countries. Similarly people in Pakistan are waiting for going on their job in abroad He said that PIA was incurring huge loss of millions of rupees daily and exports were also suspended to different states.
