Moonis-Elahi- The Court granted four days physical remand
A judicial magistrate granted a four-day physical remand to PML-Q MPA Moonis Elahi in the National Insurance Corporation Limited (NICL) scam here on Friday.
Moonis Elahi was presented before the court by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and it prayed for physical remand of the accused for interrogation as he was involved in the corruption case.
Moonis Elahi's counsel submitted that permission of the speaker was needed for the arrest of any member of the assembly. He requested the court to investigate if permission was taken or not.
The court granting four days remand ordered FIA to appear him again on March 21.
