Four civil judges resigned, other went on leave.

MULTAN,March 26th:Some four Civil Judges of Arifwala (Pakpattan district) have tendered resignation to protest the slapping of a civil judge in Faisalabad while Faisalabad judges also went on leave for the same reason. However, Additional Session Judge Arfiwala said that the resignations have not been accepted. The judges who tendered their resignations include Adnan Mushtaq, Mian Manzoor, Ahmed Adnan, Anjum Gondal and Imtiaz Hassan. District and Session Judges in different parts of Punjab including Lahore, Kasur, Faisalabad, Pakpattan, Arifwala and Sheikhupura remained absent from their courts.However Senior Civil JUdge of Layyah has withdrawn his resignation, as announced by the Registrar of Lahore High Court.
